I had a similar experience with Nimzo and Fritz on my comp. I narrowed the problem to my ata 66 drivers to my maxtor hard drive. The only way I fixed it in my computer was to NOT install the drivers that came with my abit motherboard. Check to see if there is a driver conflict with your drive.
