I run about 20 degrees centigrade cooler, but then I haven't overclocked by cpu up from 800mhz yet. With your temps, I would worry about how I would fair when summer rolls around with the higher ambient temps pushing the cpu temp even higher. At 1.2Ghz I would definitely look for a high quality cpu cooler. For example, I use a very nice Globalwin with a 7000rpm fan (noisy) for my athlon cpu. I also have 2 additional fans to circulate air through the case. For 1.2 Ghz, you should at the very least have a cooling setup like mine. >Hi > >i have a new athlon 1.2 GHZ Athlon with Asus A7V 133 Board and 384 MB RAM. > >My question is: what temperature is ok for my CPU.
