Im not sure what your problem is. Fritz has not does this with me. the
endgame tablebase works fine on my computer. heres how I installed my
Fritz 5 maybe it will help you. Installed the program. copy the Fritz 5
book to your hard disk.( see page 41 on manual (4.9)) Then copy the talk
files onto you hard disk(see page 75). then you no longer need the talk
cd. Just use the Fritz 5 cd that has the tablebases only. If you have
done this already I would reinstall Fritz and see if that will fix the
problem.
