The programs, that cannot take advantage of dual processor computers used a PIII
933MHz with 256 MB RAM, that was provided by the organizer. The only exception
was Gromit. They used their own computer - if I remember correctly, it was a
fast Athlon. The "deep" programs used a dual PIII 933 MHz with 512 MB RAM, also
provided by the organizers. These programs were - also from memory - Fritz,
Ikarus, Patzer, Shredder, SOS. Diep used a quad computer from Robert Hyatt.
P.Conners used a special hardware with 160 CPUs.
