Permit me to voice a mild disagreement with your opinion concerning Nimzo 8. Being the proud owner of Nimzo 7.32 as well as Nimzo 8, I can assure you that the default settings that come with the program are NOT the strongest settings. Why Dr. Donninger insists on shipping the program with these settings is beyond me. My opinion, based on several hundred games in Yahoo and Pogo/excite is that a midgame mobility factor of between 35 and 45, as well as allaround for playing style is the optimal setting for Nimzo 732. Interestingly, my continued testing of Nimzo 8 suggests that it's not as strong as Nimzo 7.32. It's a preliminary finding, and may change with continued testing. But so far, the key factor which disturbs me about Nimzo 8 is it's unpredictability (making obvious blunders). This element is missing from the 732 version. As I have stated, I hope I am mistaken, but so far, Nimzo 732 with the revised settings seems to be stronger than Nimzo 8, with the same settings.
