Dear Garry, I just completed 2 correspondence chess games versus Nimzo 7.32, while my match with Fritz 6a continues. These games can be followed at: http://www.correspondencechess.com/campbell/ where you will find detailed notes. Click on the "All 4 Current Positions" access and then click on each diagram to view the commentary. Long story short, Nimzo 7.32 defeated me (a 2500+ rated ICCF player) in a tactical melee in one game. I was impressed with Nimzo's tactical ability (it seemed superior than Fritz 6a tactically), but was not so impressive in static positions (Fritz 6a seems much superior in these positions). Regardless, my perception was that Nimzo 7.32 is extremely aggressive. This is also its weakness...when it doesn't know what to do, it attacks. I did notice too that Nimzo 7.32 had no ability to reliably evaluate positions, but Fritz 6a isn't much better in that regard. So, if Nimzo 8 is truly an improvement, then it must indeed be a vicious attacking beast. All the best, Stephen Ham
