Hi, I've just tried these 2 positions on my program, doing a quick search of 15ply or so on each one. In the first position LambChop has a score of about zero, in the second its score is about negative half a pawn. So it understands there is a difference, but is in general too pessimistic about white's prospects. For me, this is food or thought :-) Peter
