I'm running the demo ChessGenius on a Palm IIIxe with Palm OS 3.5.2 and Afterburner 3.0t registered. I'm a chess beginner (probably in the 800's) and have been trying out ChessGenius program and PocketChess. Even at my level my sense is that ChessGenius is playing a much more interesting game. My one problem is that ChessGenius is not playing nice with Afterburner, and in the opposite way from what you might expect. Afterburner allows one to customize processor speed for each application. In a timed game, the *slower* I set Afterburner for ChessGenius, the *faster* the chess clock goes! At "normal" speed ChessGenius is counting seconds at roughly four times the proper rate. At 29Mhz the ChessGenius clock runs closer to realtime but is still not right. Has anyone here experienced this and does anyone have any suggestions? (I have also contacted tech support)
