We have not sold that model for quite some time, but I
believe it had "depth of search" levels that permitted the
user to begin with a one ply (1/2) move search. This
allowed the user to train him/herself to look further
ahead. Once that was mastered, the level could be set to
two ply (1 full move)and so on. If you have trouble
beating any stand-alone chess computer, look for the
level that uses the least amount of time or has the
shortest look-ahead.

As far as the Morra, I'll laeve that up to the REAL
chess guys.
