As I recall, this web page used to have more in it, but they seem to have revised it to account for his dying, and it looks like they'll fill the page in later. http://www.treasure-troves.com/bios/Shannon.html I was able to find this url again because of the name of the pdf file I downloaded there a long time ago, shannon1948.pdf , which is still there.
