Yace agrees with Pretz with mate in 17. It could not find the mate in 2 minutes
(I also do not have any relevant 5 men TBs installed), and showed a score of
+14. I made the suggested moves, and then it soon had seen the mate, and found
no alternetive, after taking back the move. The PV is slighty different:
23 0.091 Mat17 1. 1.Nc2+ Ka2 2.Nb4+ Ka3 3.Nd3 Bxd3 4.Qd6+ Ka4
5.Qxd3 b2+ 6.Kc2 b1=Q+ 7.Kxb1 Kb4 8.Qh7 Kb5
9.Qxh4 {EGTB} 9...c2+ 10.Kxc2! Kc5 11.Qf6 Kd5!
12.Kc3 Ke4! 13.Qg5! Kf3 14.Kd3! Kf2 15.Qg4!
Kf1! 16.Ke3! Ke1 17.Qg1# {1001}
