Hello Everybody:

After a long night experimenting ("fighting") with the AutoPlayer2.32 and Rebel
Century 3, I got to put it in function.

Really nice to see Rebel Century playing against other compatible 232 GUIs.

My goal was to find a suitable GUI for Winboard Engines as much as had the
AutoPlayer 232 capabilities: The result of this experience is, undoubtedly, the
ChessPartner 5.0.

Lex Loep has made a wonderful with this GUI where the Tiger Engines run too.

The configuration file for the Winboard Engines is very detailed and you can
specify almost the Winboard Commands.

For example, SOS/11/1999-Winboard now can run in this GUI.

The only care is to run your Favorite Engine on the Winboard GUI with the debug
option enabled. Then, you can see in the Winboard.debug files what the commands
sequence are sent by your Favorite Engine to the Winboard GUI.

You have only to put this commands sequences in the ChessPartner GUI
Congiguration File Winboard Commands Tag for your Favorite Engine.

That's all.

Now, you have a pretty complete GUI with Winboard-Support with Autoplayer232.

For example, I am running a micro-test Match between Crafty18.01 on the
ChessPartner GUI against Rebel Century 3, my first favorite, favorite Chess
Program.

I will use this GUI for the Match against LambChop 10.83 and Rebel Century 3.

Regards, Arturo.
