I would at least tactical destroy Deep Blue easily.

Of course diep would have played better moves as Deep Blue.

Let's start with game 1, the many bad moves made by Deep Blue:

After seeing this game all members of my chessclub that are playing
national league (about 1900 national and up, that's around 2100USCF
and up) are laughing so loud about deep blue that just like kasparov
they don't take deep blue serious anymore.

but to talk about the first game. How many programs do you know play
next pathetic moves:

  10..h6?
  11..Qa5?
  12..Bc7?
  13..g5?
  22..g4?

5 bad moves? Que? I'm pretty sure i saw less blunders in games
at the IPCCC.

Seirawan also thinks move 33..Qb5 is real bad but i don't care
about that move as position is already lost by then.

Next games you clearly see Kasparov tries to give the computer a pawn
up or similar and then tries to win the endgame (bad idea btw cuz
kasparov is not so good in endgame compared to opening)

In game 2 kasparov clearly makes a huge number of mistakes in an opening
he has never played in his life. Also he only gets left because of
real bad moves with a position with just 1 open file and only 1 can
win then... ...unless you of course blunder.

But about the Kh1 move in game 2, this is a win for sure.
The played move Kf1 is a tactical blunder.

Now Deep Blue for sure wasn't tactical weak, but DIEP would have
won there with Kh1 because it sees the tactics!!

How many of your progs also find Kh1!!

Greetings,
Vincent
