In full agreement. Even using a -0.25 score can put the silicon in serious
trouble. There are so many cases the silicon will evaluate a position as
-0.20 while being lost. Better pick the draw with a normal 0.00 score and
be on the safe side.

In general I never use the draw contempt factor not even against a 2000
player. I have played many games experimenting with the draw contempt
factor and I find my program to play strange in case a repetition of moves
is an issue in the position. I just don't like it. Blitz is of course a
different story.
