Even using a -0.25 score can put the silicon in serious trouble. There are so many cases the silicon will evaluate a position as -0.20 while being lost. Better pick the draw with a normal 0.00 score and be on the safe side. In general I never use the draw contempt factor not even against a 2000 player. I have played many games experimenting with the draw contempt factor and I find my program to play strange in case a repetition of moves is an issue in the position. I just don't like it. Blitz is of course a different story. Ed
