On the 550's, quite a few programs are better (if only a bit) than 5555. On today's fastest hardware, it may look entirely different. Personally, I don't think 8000 is weaker, it just plays more passively, but also more solid. So if you play both against Program X, 5555 might end up +5 =10 -5 while 8000 might score +2 =18 -2. --- Shep
