According to a book I read, there was a story that goes something like this:

The 2 players were paired up with each other that round. No matter what they
did, the tournament director said they would have to play each other wether they
like it or not. The director was relieved when he saw the two young
troublemakers sit down. He believed that they would agree to a quick draw.
Instead, the 2 players used Lloyd's 10-move stalemate to teach the tournament
director a lesson.

White played the paralyzing stroke 10.Q-K6! looked around in obvious
self-satisfaction and started his opponent's clock. The opponent's face in a
vain quest to find a playable move was so funny, that several bystanders laughed
themselves to tears. Even the tournament director was laughing and declared a
"double forfeit" and was still holding his sides when he came to the table to
mark the 2 zeros on the scoresheet. (Don't know if the double forfeit actually
happened.)

Would anyone like to run a G/60 Chessmaster 8000 tournament? Players involved
are the 8 players from AVRO, 1938 Time Control is G/60 and it's a double
round-robin. The players are Euwe, Alekhine, Capablanca, Keres, Fine, Flohr,
Botvinnik, and Reshevsky. A fast computer isn't necessary but recommended.
