Those I associated with Notepad. Files like .log and .pgn and .epd, all of those I associated with a free download programmer's editor called PFE. Because if I paste something into CCC that I had opened in Notepad, there will be these irritating "end of line" characters that show up, but PFE somehow fixes that problem for me (besides, it's my favorite editor).
