Subject: Deep Blue - How would it do now against PC's?

Reading a few posts below seems to indicate some people feel that Deep Blue
would be a pushover against today's PC programs. I do think it's possible for
today's PC's to win some games but in a long match, I would think Deep Blue
would still win. I guess the reason I feel this way is because it just seems
silly to think that a program that costs $50 could beat something that would
cost a whole lot more, I realize that has nothing to do with it but it still
seems silly.
