What is the setting >for the piece movement sounds? > >jm John, Here's the story as it pertains to the original topic of too many engines running. Understand I am trying to see how many "Theking" I can get to run at once. The settings you asked for: Game Room/Piece Movement: Thematic Sound Sets Kids Room/Piece Movement: Thematic Sound Sets Piece Set in Game Room : 2D Teal Marble Small w/Staunton Brown & White Small In the game room I start a new two personality game. Niether personality is the Chessmaster himself. Then I open the thinking lines and visual thinking windows and make sure all check boxes are checked. Now three King engine are running. I leave everything running and just click to go to the kids room. I look and now and no King engine is running. I start up a kids match, two computer personalities. Two King engines are running at this point. I go back to the game room and the game seems to pick up where it left off, except at least one side is barking. Now I'm not reporting this as a bug, I'm posting just because you asked. I think the barking is funny and it's not a problem for me. Changing subject: A little background and the punchline: I have very seldom tred in the Kid's Room. Here's my first experience with it. My niece was "computing" while I lay on the couch dozing and watching television. She managed to turn up the volume and make her way to the kids room to play a game. The dogs began to bark at this raised volume. With a start, I nearly fell off the sofa. Needless to say the rest of household was quite amused. I'm sure my mail carrier would sympathize with me. Yes, who would have though we'd talk about barking Chessmaster in this forum. grin... Regards, Brian K.
