These games were played by Chris Taylor. Following is from the read file attached to the zipped pgn. These games can be downloaded from the matches section of my website; http://www.geocities.com/chessfun_1999 -------------------------------- Both programs used Athlon 800s. 1 hour each program-200 games played. Chess Tiger used 192 Mb hash Chess Tiger book. Shredder had 128 meg hash. No table bases were used? At the time one of the Athlons had a small 4 gig hard drive, and I swapped the programs over, it was not fair to let Shredder have TB access on half the games. S5 v CT13 113--87. Both programs had the latest patches installed, at the time of playing the games. I did every thing in my power to make each program run at its best Anyone taking this match too serious, can be given pills to make the problem go away!! There are two games which have exited auto232 early, both have been declared a draw. If anyone finds any game, not marked as correct, please email me, I will replay the odd game. Of course, feel free to email me if you want to discuss this or any other subject? This has taken too long, but has been enjoyable. Despite Shredder winning Chess Tiger is still one of my favourite programs!
