Since I imagine that you have a least a Pentium II 300 MHz, and any of those programs that you mentioned would be sufficient to give you a good challenge and to provide you with a solid analysis which would be better than what you can reason on your own. Now if the reason for buying a newer computer is more than just chess, or you have a rating higher than 2350 and your current P.C. is not giving you a challenge anymore than any P.C. with a processor higher than 850 MHz would do the job.
