The athlon is much faster of course. I also am a fan of Hiarcs 7.32 and in 5 min blitz it actually beats the 1.2 running tiger 75% of the time...10 minutes and higher its a different story. In my opinion If you are only buying a computer for a _cahllenge_ then I would purchase an old PII or an AMD K6. That should give 99% of all people a good game. Save the extra money and take your wife out to a fancy restaurant and enjoy(it will be worth much more to you!) Ed Ed
