I never even tried to compose, disappointed? :)

However in my youth I once played a game in a competition which I won
due to a blunder of my opponent (1..Kxg7). It took me weeks to find out
how to win if my opponent would have given the the longest possible
resistance.

Remember these were the days there were no chess programs. The beauty of
the position is not to play 3.Rdd7 directly but 3.b3! making b2 an escape
square for the white king to escape from the blacks checks.
