Chuck,
Thanks for your feedback. I just discovered a fairly simple workaround. Click
on the database window. Then click on the chessboard window again. The Nodes box
contents are always restored with the older GUI, and usually with the newer GUI
too.

If not, with the new Fritz Deep GUI... Slide the vertical divider all the way to
the right on the chessboard window. Rightclick and select a font (any font), and
say OK. Then slide the vertical divider back to the left to the proper position,
and the Nodes box contents is restored. Thereafter if you don't move the
vertical divider, the first trick above (click on the database window) works.

It appears that the contents of the Nodes box is simply written to the video
screen, and not stored anywhere. I suspect that windows may be switching the
location of the video screen, something which the GUI isn't taking into account.
Or something like that. Just a hunch.

I'm not going to bother to notify Chessbase. This kind of problem with the Nodes
information box has been around for a long time, so surely they know about it by
now!?
