Hi,

For an AMD Thunderbird 1.2 GHz is a dual compatible motherboard not availalbe.

With Abit VP6 Pentium dual board you can adjust the FSB takt of 140 or more MHz.
The Gambit-Soft Dual 1GHz Pentium III system (for Deep Shredder vers. The World,
in 2-3 weeks with interesting prizes) is running with over 1.1 MHz without any
problems but I think 1 GHz dual is enough. I am not a fan from overclocking.
Interesting is to set the FSB takt of 140 MHz. Memory and processor is faster
and the temperature is ~ 54-55° with an good Pabst cooler.

Furthermore, I think you need 400 Watt for an AMD dual system. Very very
expensiv when the system is working the long day ! the most and best computer
chess programs working faster on P III than on AMD systems.

I think 30 ELO stronger, Shredder or Deep Fritz with factor 1.7-1.8 on P III
1GHz compare to 1GHz single system.

Best
Frank
