These are _very_ rare (I don't recall more than a couple of them in all the games I have watched.) I have seen crafty win games when the opponent overlooked a deep mate threat or tactical win (this usually happens against human GM players). I watched a game last night where it got to -6.5, but ended up drawing a GM on ICC. Of the two cases, I more often (against humans) see losses turn into draws and draws turn into wins, rather than the other way around. But it will definitely overlook something from time to time and go from +4 to 0 to -3 or something... Bullet games are _notorious_ for seeing wild eval swings, because the search depths are so shallow compared to 12-14 plies in normal 40 move in 2 hour games.
