hi sarah.
i don't understand your point. their have been critical comments
and requests why i am not using deep fritz and instead use fritz6b
in my tournament.

i thought there is no much different. in computerschach and spiele the
review/test-article said that it is not much difference for people using
single-cpu.

i considered much about this point. when studying the latest
ssdf-list, and reconsidering about the topic, i followed the critics
and that it would be unfair to use fritz6b since deep fritz is
the stronger program for chessbase. their have been no
advises or requests from chessbase concerning this topic. normally
i think the programmer himself is in charge to make sure the version
he wants to play with, is used. i am sure that if i would have been
more convinced myself, that deep fritz is stronger, or if computer-schach
and spiele would have convinced me deeper, or chessbase has advised me to
use deep fritz, my decision to update to deep fritz would have been earlier.

i don't understand your comment sarah.
fritz is not shredder and vice versa.

i have spoken with stefan meyer kahlen too about the version-discussion for the
tournament and we have come to the agreement that using shredder5 is ok for him
and for me too.
