[D]k7/P7/P7/P7/P7/P7/P7/R3K3 w Q - 0 1 Shinkman, 1887 #8 The author promises a mate for white in 8 moves. Surely it's a true promise - like the ones from CB which in a very short time certainly will give us a new CB8 [*not* read "Chess Blab Eight" as one of my friends suggested] upgrade with correct search functions etc. Surely they will also put out the promised upgrade of "the search for duplicates" function for CB7. No doubt. Absolutely no doubt. So, down the ladder we go in this one. Black has no choice but to wait and do what he's forced to do. I know Frederic likes problems like this, so this one is for him. ;) Test: If the promises are kept. One of the solutions further down. Sune Shinkman 1887 1.0-0-0! Kxa7 2.Rd8!
