I'm not sure if i have heard of Fred Schwartz or not. Was he on the Chaos team?
The others i have heard of, but many members of CCC probably haven't. A quick
post about who they were and what they did in computer chess would probably be
interesting to many readers. Is the following close?
Ken Thompson - Belle (with Joe Condon) (Ken also invented Unix(TM) circa 1969)
David Slate - Northwestern program
(with Larry Atken and occasionally Keith Gorlen)
- Nuchess also with someone else ?
Tom Truscott - Duchess (with one or two other guys ?) (Tom should also be famous
as one of the inventors of the UseNet circa 1979 i think?)
Ed Kozdrowicki - CoKo (with someone else?)
Richard Greenblatt - MacHack (this has nothing to do with the Macintosh. Project
MAC was the AI project at MIT in the 1960s.)
(Richard also should be famous for Lisp work and general hacking at MIT
in the 1960s.)
