Yes, Fred was the primary mover behind Chaos. There were many others. Marsland (Wita, then because he got tired of being last when listing program names alphabetically, he changed the name to awit). Newborn (ostrich). Levy (several programs, all micro-based). Today I would also add Moreland (Ferret) since Bruce is just as willing to answer questions as anyone of the "old school". Stanback is approachable (Zarkov). I usually mention Slate and Thompson because I called them several times early on to ask questions about things I couldn't really do since I wasn't using computers like a Cyber 176 with tons of memory... But I am sure there are others that are just as helpful if not moreso...
