Just read that Steve Jobs today was boasting that the new G3 powered apple computers are 3 times faster than Intel stuff. Any one run any chess programs on the new 300 mhz G3 apples yet? And the new copper technology that IBM is starting to use has some people talking about the possibility of 800 mhz G-somethings in 99. Too bad there aren't more chess programs on that platform I guess -- although their new operating system is supposed to run wintel stuff eventually right? Or already does? (I know next to nothing about MAC stuff, sorry in advance.) Again, opinions welcome!
