Who or what determined the best moves on these positions?  Were they all the
moves played in the games?

Here's what Comet said when fed these positions with a batch file allowing 15
minutes per game.  I copied your best moves to the end of each line and marked
the ones where Comet agreed with a "*", fwiw, only 3 times.  I suppose with
longer times it might have agreed with more of them.
