The same RAM considerations apply to loading two or more engines under Shredder.

You don't have to thank me twice :-). The removal of sound as suggested by
Enrique is a good idea. I can't remember if the opening book is optimized by
default. But it's only a question of using Tournament book and enabling
statistics, refutations and learning.
