Actually there is a lot of childish nonsense going on at ICC solely for rating points. Almost always by people who have nothing to do with the programs they are using. It's an ego trip for these very immature people. They get mad when their computer loses and will simply cheat or do whatever it takes to "get even". I have seen some people resign early to drop their rating down on purpose so they can later come back and take rating points from someone they lost to by simply getting a draw. :-) The childishness is simply endless.
