I would like to see new people moderate, but I won't get to see this unless people are willing to moderate and get on this list. If you can think of someone who you think sounds at least semi-intelligent, please nominate them. Also, I would suggest that if you read and post in the group regularly, and think that you are mostly not an ass, please nominate yourself. This group has really taken off. There are lots of posts every day and some of them are even interesting. I think that those who in the past have tried to wreck the group have gotten bored by the sheer volume of on-topic stuff, and have left. That's wonderful, but the people who are doing the posting need to step up and volunteer to suffer for six months. That will be even better for the group. Moderation is a form of service, like jury duty only with less pay, and those who enjoy the group should be willing to volunteer to do it. It's not fun but it's part of why the group is a success. bruce
