Well Christophe, let me tell you something about marketing. After all, more
than 10 years ago, I was creative writter in Mc Erickson. I remember something
of all that shit. First, three weeks are an eternity. In three weeks thousands
of could-be purchases can be lost to competence. And second, of course there are
victims: not the purchasers of F6, that got his upgrade, BUT the other
programmers or companies that did not sell his product because the customer
bought the other one. And all this is double truth in this tiny market where:
A) people, a you know well, get angry if they does not receive the new toy at
once.
b) people not always have enough money to indulge every drive to purchase.
The combination of those factor produce a clear result: the guy purchase the
first new program available and then has not money for the next one. So, one of
the victims was you, Crhistophe. Surely a lot of Tiger were not sold because F6
was in the shells before, not matter how akward and unfinished was.
Salut
Fernando
