The openings are not exactly the same but the openings are similiar.

It is illogical to do it.

If crafty see that it is losing with 1.e4 then it is logical to try something
else like d4.

It seems that the information tells almost nothing about the strength of the
programs(I also suspect that both programs used the same book and if the book is
tiger's book then it gives tiger an advantage).
