To allow Fritz to use tablebases add these lines to the file ChssBase.ini, which
is located in the C:\Windows directory of your computer:

[Tablebase]
CacheSizeKB=4096
Path=C:\Tb

Modify file the line Path=C:\TB to the correct name of your tablebase directory;
e.g., C:\Tb, C:\Tbs, C:\Tablebases, etc.

You can also modify the cache size; e.g., 2048, 4096, 6144, 8192, etc.

You know, I assume, that the Fritz CD contains all 1-4 piece tablebases, and
these can be copied to your hard drive. You only need to download 5 or 6 piece
tablebases from the internet. Hope you have lots of disk space.

Regards,
John
