Just wait 6 months before you download the next update.  Then you are free from
the worry.

The only way to know if your engine is 30 points stronger is to play thousands
of games.  The only way to play thousands of games is to release it.  Sounds
like a catch-22 to me.

If you want to release once per decade, that's fine.  If you want to release
once per year, that's fine.  If you want to release once every 15 minutes,
that's fine too.  Every strategy has pros and cons.
