I guess that these days >people look at web-sites. > >Ed no - i don't think so. the tournaments of the icca are organised very weak. always when private people or other people then icca take initiative, like ossi in munich, paderborn crew, it is good. but e.g. paris was not well organised. they forget everything imo. of course you are right concerning visitors and internet. but if all championships would be as good organised as paderborn... you have to consider that other people have to get holidays for this event. cause they have to work. and when they have children, they have to take hoildays for the children, not for chess events.
