Hi, i have forgotten to tell that from this round gandalf
will play in version h. Steen cared about this, but it was my mistake,
i had updated it but forgotten to announce.
There were comments to begin the round from the end (games 13 to 1)
and not from the top-positions. the reason i have not cared about this
so far is that we are only in round 3 and top changes maybe often, also
my heart is not only to the top group, but also to unknown programs i like.
There were also comments to show when programs left book. This has the advantage
that the human chess players can concentrate on the stage where programs
computed, on the other hand the disadvantage that we don't learn much about
the books and how the programs played the opening stage.
ok. i will try to mark the first computed move with a {*} for each side.
In the moment cometb31 plays against cstal2.03. i would like to see the
programmers comment the comments of the GM's and IM's. maybe we could do this
here in this forum, so that we have nice discussions about the games.
i can imagine e.g. that programmers think different about comments of the human
chess players, and this is something i would like to see: discussion between the
camps. we could all learn from it. which programmer begins and tries the
dialogue ?? would be nice ! thank you.

Hallo, ich habe leider vergessen mitzuteilen das Gandalf in dieser
Runde auch updated, in der version h mitspielt. Steen Suurballe fiel das
auf und er hakte nach. Ich hatte wohl updated, aber die Ankuendigung uebersehen.
Kein Problem. Natuerlich ist auch Gandalf in der letzten Version.
Es gab auch Kommentare die Runden von hinten zu beginnen, und sich dann zur
spannendsten TOP-Paarung vorzuarbeiten.
Der Grund warum ich mich darum noch nicht gekuemmert habe ist, das ich
neben den Top-Programmen mit dem Herzen bei den unbekannten oder aelteren
Programmen bin, und nicht nur bei den staerksten.
So fiel mir diese ausgelassene Spannungskurve gar nicht auf, weil fuer mich
das ganze auch in anderer Reihenfolge spannend genug war.
Es gab auch Kommentare das Verlassen des Buches der Programme zu Kennzeichnen.
Dies hat m.E. Vor- und Nachteile. Ich habe etwas Angst das man sich auf die
Phasen konzentriert in denen die Programme das Buch verlassen haben, wir aber
nicht viel ueber die Eroeffnung lernen, auf der anderen Seite koennen
Missverstaendnisse beseitigt werden. Nun gut. Ich werde also versuchen den
ersten errechneten Zug mit einem {*} auf beiden Seiten zu kennzeichnen.
Im Moment spielt CometB31 gegen CSTal2.03. Ich wuerde es begruessen wenn die
Programmierer auch die Anmerkungen der GM' und IM's kommentieren wuerden, indem
sie Programmspezifische Details einbraechten.
Vielleicht bekommen wir hier ja einen Dialog hin, und lernen die
unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen kennen.
Wer macht den Anfang ? Wer traut sich :-)) ??
Wie gesagt, ein Dialog waere schoen. Es geht mir darum schachlich Inhaltliches
offen auszudiskutieren. Beide Seiten koennten lernen, oder ? Wo haben wir sonst
eine solche Moeglichkeit ?!
