It uses the delphi 6 compiler wich should be quite good. The speeddifference between object pascal and C++ is quite small. The main difference is that most people know more about what the compiler does with the code in C(++) because it has been around longer. Knowing what the compiler does with your code is important when optimizing. Delphi code should be quite easy to port to Kylix code and I'm very curious to see the speeddifference between linux and windows. cheers, Tony > >Regards, > >Chuck
