Should all of the move announcements be queued up and played when the previous move's announcement is finished? No, because everything would be very screwy in the case of comp vs. comp and a long fast opening book sequence. So, it comes down to the question of: What should the announcement of a new move do -- interrupt the announcement of the previous move or not get played at all? Neither is a truly acceptable solution, however.... What I would suggest to a blind player is to use Thematic sounds, and then when he/she hears the sound that states that the computer moved, use the Playback Move item (CTRL+M) to hear the move announcement. jm jm
