If there are any more nominees, now is the time to let us know. Nominations end TODAY at 3 pm New York time. Bruce Moreland Albert Silver Robert Hyatt Dann Corbitt Pete Galati Bas Hamstra John Merlino Uri Blass Fernando Villegas Eelco de Groot Tim Frohlick Djordje Vidanovic James Swafford Michael Neish All nominations must be emailed to yourmove@icdchess.com. PLEASE include email addresses for nominees. Nominations posted on the board will not be valid. Nominations will close at 3 P.M. New York time TODAY, March 15th. I would appreciate it if any of the above nominees would email yourmove@icdchess.com with your decision as to whether to run or not. I recommend that instead of responding here on the board. This will avoid long discussions unrelated to computer chess. All the rest of the nomination requirements may be found below... PLEASE include your name and the nominees' email addresses if at all possible. Nominees must be members in good standing, and must have been members in good standing as of December 31, 2000. Members who have joined CCC since January 1, 2001 are ineligible to be nominees for this election and are ineligible to place nominations. Each member (prior to January 1, 2001) may nominate up to 3 people. I would like to ask that any person nominated who does not wish to serve, email us at yourmove@icdchess.com so we may take you off the list. Those who are nominated and DO wish to serve, should prepare a short autobiography (i.e. age, education, city/state/country, interests, marriage status, chess programs written if any, hobbies, interests, etc.) and a description of moderation philosophy. This will be posted on or about March 19th. Voting shall begin shortly thereafter. I would like to thank Robert, Djordje, and Dann for their moderation work over the last 6 months. I think they have helped to bring a certain calm and maturity to the board. It is not a particularly easy job, and the pay certainly stinks, but the reward is the best message board on the internet (in my opinion). Steve (ICD/Your Move Chess & Games)
