Bf3 ant then white will have to do with two pieces more it seems. I am not sure if looking for a mate is futile but looking for a mate with a mate finder seem to be futile because the mate is too deep. After 1...Bf3 2.Qxf3 Qxa1 3.Qg4 programs can find a forced mate for white. Yace says mate in 10 against itself when the main line is 3...Qf1+ 4.Ng2 Rf7 5.Rxf7 Bf8 6.Bh6 g5 7.fxg6 Bxh6 8.gxh7+ Kh8 9.e7 Qxg2+ 10.Kxg2 b4 11.Rf8+ Rxf8 12.exf8Q Bxf8 13.Qg8# I got this main l;ine by going forward in this line and backward. Qxa1 may be not the best move but I am not going to be surprised if programs can find a mate when white has more material. Uri
