Subject: CM8000 Classic8K.pgn Revisited

If you try reading this file in Chessbase (I'm using CB8) there are numerous
errors. For example the word 'Black' in a comment was interpreted as Bc1 for
some strange reason. Checking into this further revealed that all the errors
were misinterpretations of the ';' type comment. In the semicolon type comment
everything after the semicolor to the end of the line is supposed to be a
comment. From what I see the problem is not in the Chessmaster file but in
Chessbase's interpretation of the semicolon type comments. The fix seems to be
to convert all the semicolon type comments to the brace type comment. The brace
type comment starts with an open brace ( { ) and everything to the next closing
brace ( } ) should be interpreted as a comment. I converted all comments to the
brace type comment and as far as I can tell, it cleaned up the file and
Chessbase knows how to read it just fine.
