I can't remember the exact name of the setting, but somewhere in the ReadMe file
for the patch, it talks about a special debugging setting in the CM.INI file in
which you can completely turn off sound, and run the program on machines without
sound cards.

However, this is NOT the way that the program is meant to be run, and certain
functions will not work at all (Josh's Games and Tutorials) and other functions
may work improperly (Advice, Analysis).
