we all read, all that was said here before between all these chess computer programmers, players etc.. all of the threats, lawsuits, jabs, slander, whatever that was going on after the big tournament. but i hope that is behind us as a group. this site is the number one chess computer forum in the world. most of us pull this up first in our daily favorite reading. these names we see that are posting here are the worlds best. Stefan used to post here regularily. he used to give us his opinions, answer questions and just participate in any number of conversations. but now he only reads, and refuses to post. i dont agree with him for doing this. it seems marcus got the best of him from all that mess, when it comes to posting here. it is not fair to many of us, fans, customers, wantabe programmers, and those who just tried to learn from Stefans postings. i own shredder4, shredder5, and now deep shredder. but i also own all of the other commercial programs that have been released in the last five years. i like every one of them, and will buy the next that comes out. so here is the question....can we as a group, a large number, invite Stefan to come out of hiding? can we as a group tell him that regardless of what has happened, we want him to participate as before? can we as a group tell him that he is as much a part of this club as anyone? say what you want to about Mr. Hyatt, he is a legend---he made kasporov request a sweat band once. and the new killer team of Ed and Chris the tiger, these guys could be the next world champions. when the checkered flag falls, chris is always there. and we cant forget fritz, junior, nimzo, etc...but for some reason when the "big" one comes up every year, and all these guys show up for the big trophy, Stefan is seen walking out the door with the winners cup. this should mean something. this guy for now is our world champ. something seems wrong here to me. i want all programmers here. can we have this again?
