Chuck, Is there anyway you can post something formatted similar to the output from CM8K? Since I primarily use chess programs for analysis, the format is a big deal to me. I am contemplating updating from M-Chess Pro 8 but am undecided between CM8K and Fritz. The problem with CM8K is that it requires DirectX Ver. 8. I am reluctant to upgrade from Ver. 6 to 8 on my new computer. I had lots of problems with WINDOWS 98 on my old Pentium 200. Eventually, I bought a new computer to get out of the problems. The problems appeared when I attempted to upgrade to the latest of everything. If you read the upgrade literature for DirectX 8.0a, it tells you that if you have a problem with it, you will have to reinstall your entire operating system. I had more than my share of WINDOZE reinstalls on my old computer. My motto now is "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it." My new Pentium III-866 has been running just fine since October. Do you happen to know what version of DirectX Fritz requires? If Fritz can run with Version 6, then I will probably just go ahead and buy that program.
