"Run" and "officially support" are two different things. By almost all accounts,
CM8000 "runs" fine on Win2K/NT, although some users have reported problems with
menus not displaying properly (this is definitely a Win2K problem), and a few
others have reported that the program does not work at all (which is not
necessarily traceable to Win2K -- it could be any of several hardware/software
issues).

The simple reason that CM8000 does not officially support Win2K/NT is that we do
not have enough testing manpower to fully test the product on Win
95/98/ME/2K/NT.

So, unfortunately, for CM8000 it's still "caveat emptor" if you have Win2K/NT.
